Stacy Ebert is an illustrator and writer for children with a background in communication art and design and elementary education.

During her studies, she spent many hours volunteering in elementary school reading programs, after school programs, and assisting in art classrooms. She spent time drawing, writing for the college newspaper and Her Voice Magazine, and penning a memoir.

Her work has included graphic design within the interior design business, freelance graphic design, commissioned artwork, quality management, various roles within a leading advertising and branding agency including market research management, special education, teaching middle school drama , and homeschooling.

Eventually, her experiences culminated into a passion for illustrating and writing books for children. Picture books are her sweet spot.

She creates on the prairie with her husband, three sons, one painted piano, and three coral peonies.
