Stacy Ebert is an illustrator and writer for children with a background in communication art and design and elementary education.
During her studies, she spent many hours volunteering in elementary school reading programs, after school programs, and assisting in art classrooms. She spent time drawing, writing for the college newspaper, Her Voice Magazine, and penning a memoir.
She was a graphic designer within an interior design business, a freelance graphic designer, a quality assurance manager, commissioned artist, and held various roles within a leading advertising and branding agency including market research data collection management. Her work in education has included, public school special education, teaching a middle school drama course and leading a play production.
These experiences ultimately fueled her passion for writing and illustrating children’s books, and for inspiring young readers and writers through presentations at schools, organizations, festivals, and bookstores nationwide.
She lives in Minnesota with her husband and three sons.
